On March 1st Speedie received a new wheelchair at clinic.
I am trying to make up for the lack of posts this last month, so hopefully more will be coming.

When I look up at this mountain, I feel so happy to be right here!
For me, it is so much more than a mountain. It symbolizes challenge and adventure. It reminds me of good memories. It makes me feel at home.
I picture the view from the summit, the town of Magdalena and beside it CVE. And I pray for God to bless this valley with the power of His truth!
I think about everything that God is doing here and I praise Him because it is His plan, His purpose, His battle, and He will do it!
Having fun with the build-a-straw gift Speedie got for his birthday.
Zoom enjoyed it too.
We were thankful to have the Gridley team here last week. Art and Twyla are the boys “grandparents.”
A content Speedie listening to the morning talk between two grandpas.
Squeezing fresh orange juice with the oranges from Carissa’s tree.
Thanks to the help of Donna Lou we finally got our tiny bathroom painted!
I got a painting lesson and we are enjoying the final result.
It seems bigger and definitely brighter!
And Jon hung some wall decorations for us.
We’d been wanting to paint and hang the decorations for almost two years. The things that can get done in an afternoon with a little extra motivation and help. π€·♀️ππ
Our big Valentine’s card from Grandpa Art and Grandma Twyla.
Valentine’s Day morning, the ladies were all invited to Kupferschmid’s for a get-together. The luxury of just sitting and chatting for two hours!
And the joy of holding this cute little girl. She is a charm!
Rainy day blanket house
It has been raining for the last three days, probably over 2 inches by now. Yesterday afternoon, I faced the challenge of keeping the boys entertained all afternoon inside. Thanks to puzzles, a treasure hunt, an indoor obstacle course, and building a blanket house, we had a great time! Zoom really needs physical activity, so crawling through blankets and under livingroom tables in the obstacle course might have saved the day. (Thanks google for ideas on “proprioceptive” activities.)
Our wet world
Speedie with his umbrella contraption. It worked...50%.
Today I pondered... God’s love showers down like this rain, steady and relentless, yet gentle. Water falling...
Jared and Betza’s wedding was beautiful! I wonder how many times over the years that I thought about someday being at her wedding. How time flies!
Surrounded by some of my favorite people!
And well, that was the start of the wedding bells because the next day... engagement #1: ZoΓ« Koehl and Todd Stoller
Two weeks later...engagement #2: Jodi Beer and Seth Gerber
God’s blessings to them! And to CVE! We are entering a new era. π
Zoom opening his gifts on Christmas Day and playing with the LEGO’s.
Christmas Day, Marce left for a trip to visit her family in MichoacΓ‘n, Mexico.
And the boys and I started Christmas break...ππππ€ͺπ³π€·♀️π
We spied a high-in-the-sky rainbow.
We invited Marshall over one afternoon and the boys had a great time, playing with nerf guns and flashlights.
One Sunday afternoon as the soccer game beside our house was winding to a close, a girl arrived with a bowl of apple peels! π Oh, the fun of eating them.
Thankfully about when we were reaching the boredom limit, my grandma, mom, Megan, and Emily arrived to visit for Jared and Betza Kaeb’s wedding.
Mom getting down on Zoom’s level to see his toys.
Making cookies with Megan!
Mom fixing sweet potatoes. π My favorite.
We sisters took the boys on a horse ride.
And then rode ourselves!

Marce arrived safe and sound and I was thankful for all my families help in preparing for the team from Cissna Park!
So thankful to be a part of this bunch and blessed to witness as they grow and mature!
