Having fun with the build-a-straw gift Speedie got for his birthday.
Zoom enjoyed it too.
We were thankful to have the Gridley team here last week. Art and Twyla are the boys “grandparents.”
A content Speedie listening to the morning talk between two grandpas.
Squeezing fresh orange juice with the oranges from Carissa’s tree.
Thanks to the help of Donna Lou we finally got our tiny bathroom painted!
I got a painting lesson and we are enjoying the final result.
It seems bigger and definitely brighter!
And Jon hung some wall decorations for us.
We’d been wanting to paint and hang the decorations for almost two years. The things that can get done in an afternoon with a little extra motivation and help. 🤷♀️😃👍
Our big Valentine’s card from Grandpa Art and Grandma Twyla.
Valentine’s Day morning, the ladies were all invited to Kupferschmid’s for a get-together. The luxury of just sitting and chatting for two hours!
And the joy of holding this cute little girl. She is a charm!
Rainy day blanket house
It has been raining for the last three days, probably over 2 inches by now. Yesterday afternoon, I faced the challenge of keeping the boys entertained all afternoon inside. Thanks to puzzles, a treasure hunt, an indoor obstacle course, and building a blanket house, we had a great time! Zoom really needs physical activity, so crawling through blankets and under livingroom tables in the obstacle course might have saved the day. (Thanks google for ideas on “proprioceptive” activities.)
Our wet world
Speedie with his umbrella contraption. It worked...50%.
Today I pondered... God’s love showers down like this rain, steady and relentless, yet gentle. Water falling...
